If this was the real world: The bullies then reported the incident to the press resulting in Shining Armour being shamed, "for abusng his guard position and powers" and questions are asked about the Royal Guard. In order to save face/avoid any further bad publicity the Royal Guard fire him causing him to fall into deep depression/let himself go leading to Cadence losing interest in him and eventually even his parents giving up on him. Then the only person who still believes in him, (his little sister) is sent away to study.
So it would ruin his career chances instead of costing him his position. The same questions would still be asked about the Royal Guard and his depression would be just as bad. While real life may not always be depressing it is most of the time regardless.
Don't think I follow your logic. Especially since it's not uncommon to send bad kids to the military to straighten them out. Also, he didn't do anything to them and he has Cadence backing his statement so his word would be considers more valid than those of the bullies.
1.Questions asked about the implied failure in the Royal Guard's selection and training processes that would be construde to have been implied by the incident, (ie: Failure to notice and straighten out bad kids aswell as to what extent such bullying and power abuse is insitutionalised in the organisation. 2.The press would blow it out of proportion into a scandal to sell papers regardless of who backs him up leading to him being fired as a .P.R. damage limitation move.
The point is to show that the world isn't as nice as the picture implies and how damaging his actions would be when translated into real life.
Twilight looks so scared when they show up again, but Cadence's face makes me think "This is who's she's scared of?" Also, wouldn't the fact that Cadence is an alicorn scare them off? The story's real nice though, and the shading is awesome.
I really likedthe image,as it describesa scene froma fanficI readand I really liked Theficis calledPerihelion,is a story thatcontainsshipping (Twilight/Comet) TheYellowUnicornisCometTail He used tobully Twilight (Instigated by the other two),but it wasbecause he wasinsecure, othersteasedhim (Because he came from the country) and no one wanted to be his friend In the endthesetwo bullies ended upapproaching himand Comet in an attemptnot to losethe only friends whohadnowbegan to bully others (and reluctantly Twilight) He really disliked the idea to hurt others, but he doesn't want to be alone again See Twilight crying really touched him, and boosted him to rebel against the ones who were pretending to be his friends He began to hate those bullies for using him to make Twilight cry, she was really like him, without friends and often being teased, and began to regret what he did He dropped Smarty Pants (on purpose) while escaping, thentired ofthis situationdecided toget away fromthesebullies It tooka long timeto recover anddiscoverhis true talent, andrealizing thathe likedher Butwhen Comet tried toamendhis mistakeit was too late, Twilight hadgone to studyunder the tutelageof Princess Celestia
Dr. X: And now, will you help me find those foals so that I may use them for my next 'experiment' as punishment for bullying Twilight?
Raven: ....... Nnnope. On a side note, those bullies either don't know what an alicorn is, didn't notice the wings or the fact that Cadance is an adult, or are too confident...... and just plain stupid and reckless at that.
Tenth panel: "Hey little filly, we're back and there's no way your foalsitter who is a GODDESS WHO CAN CURSE US BY MAKING US FALL IN LOVE WITH OUR MOTHERS, FORCE-FIELD BLAST US OUT OF EQUESTRIA, and whose auntie is GODDESS OF EVERYTHING WHO CAN TRAP US ON THE MOON FOREVER can do anything to stop it!"
