Designed and manufactured by Lunatech, the Alliance's finest gunsmiths, the KV-22 presents a product of utmost quality to soldiers serving the United Earth Alliance. The KV-22 was designed as a heavy individual Battle Rifle, firing the 9.6mm round, as an intermediate weapon between the bulkier K-15, which is more of a dedicated sniper's weapon and the smaller assault rifles.

The KV-22 improves over it's older predecessors, the KV-8 and KV-15 Individual Battle Rifles. Significant Improvements include added supercapacitors to increase charge rate and maximum holding charge, lighter metals and composite materials, backup iron sights, improved electronic link between the soldier's devices and the weapon and much more.
