The Federation of Mars had always been known for their excellence in technological design and application, and the FE-13 LPW Assault Rifle is of no difference. Built with accuracy and comfort in mind, the FE-13 has been the primary weapon carried by Federation soldiers deployed in combat.

The FE-13 has been hailed as one of the most influential weapons of the Sol War, even gaining the respect of the soldiers it fought against. Allied soldiers in the field have been known to ditch their own heavier, bulkier weapons for the lighter Federation counterparts, due to it's ergonomic design and the fact that it's a very light gun. It's modular design even allows Allied soldiers to easily and quickly hack the weapon to allow compatibility with United Earth add-ons such as grenade launchers, sights or even helmet interfaces.

The rifle has a lower maximum rate of fire compared to it's allied counterparts, but makes it up for it's powerful gauss coils, which enable it to penetrate most body armor. It fires the 7.62 calibre AR round, and can use basic gunpowder-based rounds, in addition to it's magnetic system.
