Adding Lights to Kerkythea by fongsaunder Adding Lights to Kerkythea by fongsaunder
My first tutorial.

Request by :iconovni-the-ufo:

I suck at explaining things, so bear with me.

EDIT//

Oh dear, this old shame is in the Kerkythea group. It's quite old and outdated, and I think when I first posted this years ago, I've progressed a fair bit. Still, I think the Kerky website and forums are a much better help than this.

Also, I recently found out that for some reason when generating pointlights in Sketchup, they don't flare in Kerky due to some odd clash in the geometry. In anycase, if your pointies don't work, just move them a wee bit to the direction away from your original geometry, it does wonders.

A very good explaination! I was scratching my head trying to find out how to render a night scene.... thanks a lot!

Btw... my kerky toolsbar is invisible. It's there and functioning, but there isn't any picture/icon to indicate which is which. I have to blindly find my way through.... wonder if I unzipped the plugin incorrectly.

X3 thanks...my only problem is, and this at least helped me figure out the problem, is that the light tools on the top bar don't register when exported. I have to manually import the lights and then manually adjust them all in Kerky. x.x;

I've asked the tech support for help...and if I can't get it, ah well. I figured out a couple settings that help a little. =3 and if I have to photoshop the lights in, that's fine by me. X3;
